MWEB ADSL international problems
Many MWEB ADSL users started reporting international connectivity problems at around 20:30 tonight.
A few minutes later certain users started reporting that their international connectivity had been restored, while others were still struggling to access international services.
MWEB’s helpdesk confirmed the international connectivity problems, but the cause of the outage is currently unknown. The company’s network notice centre merely stated that there is an “MWEB ADSL outage affecting All Regions”.

MWEN ISP CEO Derek Hershaw explains that they have a new bandwidth management device at their London POP which is not functioning as expected.
“The new device caused 3 very short (less than 5 minutes) outages in the last week or so. The vendor is on site and will reinstall some of the OS to resolve the problem,” said Hershaw.
