MWEB ADSL international connectivity problems
MWEB has alerted their ADSL subscribers that they may experience a “degraded international service” because of an international outage.
MWEB subscribers started complaining at around 11:00 on 9 January 2013 about international connectivity issues, with slow or no international throughput.
Soon afterwards MWEB informed their subscribers that there is “an international outage at the moment and you may experience a degraded international service”.
The cause of the problem and the extent of the outage is currently unknown.
Update
Mweb has notified customers that the problem has been resolved, saying: “The international outage has been resolved. We would like to thank you all for the patience you had during the time.”
