MWEB ADSL problems
MWEB has informed its subscribers that ADSL users in Gauteng and other Northern regions may experience slow browsing and Internet services.
According to MWEB’s network notices the problems started at around 17:21 today (15 July 2013).
MWEB said that its engineers are attending to the problems, but did not provide any other details about the network problem.
Afrihost also alerted their ‘northern region’ users of ADSL problems caused by its IP Connect (IPC) services at Telkom.
Update: MWEB CEO Derek Hershaw has confirmed that 2 of their IPC links in Johannesburg are problematic and that Telkom is attending to the issue.
