Free ADSL data from Web Africa

Web Africa announced in an e-mail to subscribers that it is offering capped ADSL users free data to use between midnight and 06:00.
Subscribers will receive an amount of free data equal to the size of their current cap until the end of November 2013, Web Africa said.
“If you have 5GB of capped data you will now get 5GB + 5GB,” Web Africa said.
The Internet service provider (ISP) said that users could take advantage of this additional data by scheduling downloads and updates to run between 00:00 and 06:00 in the morning.
“To monitor your usage and see how you benefit visit the DSL Console,” Web Africa said.
Web Africa joins other ISPs such as Telkom and Cybersmart in offering its capped customers additional data on promotion.
Telkom Internet doubled the data cap of its customers that have at least a 5GB account, also offering free data between 00:00 and 06:00, and free access to Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
Cybersmart has also announced that it will offer its “Supersize” product in October. For R99/month subscribers get 50GB of anytime data and 1,000GB of data usable between 00:00 and 07:00. This is in addition to doubling their caps if they move their lines to Cybersmart.
Telkom announced that its promotion will run until 31 March 2014, while Cybersmart said its promotion is valid from 1 October 2013 to 28 February 2014.
