Many South African Internet Service Providers (ISPs) are offering free months to new ADSL subscribers and unlimited data with some services to attract new customers.
Gamco is currently running a promotion offering new capped, uncapped, and business ADSL subscribers free usage until the end of the year when signing a six month contract.
Gamco has basically discounted the price of its ADSL by 50% for the first six months.
MWEB Business is running a 4Mbps business DSL promotion, offering new subscribers 3 months free access on a 12 month contract. This promotion is available until the end of October 2013.
MWEB is also offering residential consumers 2 months free ADSL access when they sign up for a 6 month contract.
Telkom Internet recently announced that its capped ADSL subscribers will enjoy uncapped data when using various entertainment and gaming services – including DStv online, iTunes and Steam.
Telkom Internet has also doubled its capped subscribers’ monthly data allowance, and is providing uncapped data between 00:00 and 06:00 daily.
Cybersmart is running an ‘every second month free’ uncapped business ADSL promotion, where clients will only pay for data on every second month for a year.
