Standard Bank says it is currently experiencing slow responses on some of its banking platforms.
“Customers will have noticed that Internet Banking and our App banking platform is currently not available. Also impacted is the customers’ ability to do transactions at Standard Bank branches,” the bank said in a statement on Monday (3 August).
It said that customers can still perform transactions at any of its ATMs and point of sale devices.
“Our technicians are currently attending to the matter. Standard Bank will inform our customers when normal service levels are restored,” the bank said.
“Standard Bank would like to apologise for the inconvenience that this has caused, and would like to assure our customers that everything is being done to restore services as quickly as possible.”
