FNB Geo Payments fixed
FNB has restored functionality to its Geo Payments service, following an outage.
The Geo Payments feature allows FNB customers to send money to nearby users through the FNB app on their Android or iOS smartphone.
Recipients can then download the FNB app and accept the payment – regardless of who they bank with.
Many FNB customers were unable to access the Geo Payments service this past week, with Android and iOS users affected by the outage.
FNB said a technical issue impacted access to the feature, which has since been resolved.
