FNB rolls out nav>> Money tool for banking app

FNB has launched its nav>> Money tool for its mobile banking app.

The company unveiled a number of new tools for the app at an event in Johannesburg in May, including nav>> Money and the ability to switch to FNB by taking a selfie using a smartphone.

The tool allows FNB customers to manage their finances through a selection of features, including monthly spend tracking and credit status monitoring.

The nav>> Money tool includes the following features:

  • Track my spend – Provides alerts to customers when they are spending more than they are earning.
  • My available funds – Allows customers to see how much money they have left to save after upcoming payments.
  • My credit status – Provides customers with a live credit rating, along with tips on how to improve their rating.

“The nav>> Money tool is designed to help customers bring their money to life and aims to build on financial awareness, which will help keep people abreast of their spending habits at any time or place,” said nav>> chief imagineer Jolandé Duvenage.
