Absa customers have once again taken to the bank’s Facebook wall to complain about not being able to access their Internet banking.
One user said that she received an error-message mid-transaction.
In their responses to the reports, Absa said that they don’t seem to be experiencing any issues on their side, but added that they will investigate further and users must let them know if the problem persists.
At the time of writing only one user had complained about the downtime on Twitter.
From our own tests, Absa’s login page was down for 30–40 minutes on Friday morning (3 August 2012), showing a variety of error messages over that period.
Absa was not immediately able to comment by the time of publication.
