PC hardware and clothing were the two most popular purchases during Black Friday 2018, according to the latest MyBroadband survey.
The survey was taken by 1,553 MyBroadband readers and forum members.
Of those who took part in the survey, 69% bought something during a Black Friday 2018 sale.
Online vs offline
In terms of the channels shopped through, online retailers were by far the most popular.
51% of respondents said they only shopped online during the sale days, while 28% said they shopped online and at brick-and-mortar stores.
21% said they shopped at brick-and-mortar stores only.
How much was spent
Respondents were also asked how much they spent on Black Friday sales, with the majority spending under R3,000.
