Black Friday 2024 is fast approaching, and many online stores in South Africa have already started offering discounts on various products in the lead-up to the sales event.
The sales event takes place on the day after Thanksgiving in the US, which this year is 29 November.
Black Friday marks the start of the Christmas shopping season and sees many stores offer substantial discounts on products and extended operating hours to let shoppers make the most of the deals.
MyBroadband looked for some of the best early Black Friday deals from stores like Acer, Samsung, Chatz Connect, Teljoy, Technomobi, Edgars, Expert Stores, Kloppers, Koodoo, and Digicape.
We found five deals available on contract terms through retailers like Chatz Connect, Teljoy, and Vodacom4U.
Chatz Connect is offering the Vivo Y100 256GB on contract, with prices starting at R299 per month. However, it doesn’t specify the contract period for this price.
It also sells the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition for R399 per month.
Teljoy offers its products on a flexible rent-to-own basis. It is selling the Hisense 55-inch 4K Smart LED TV for R389 per month, with the option to own it after 36 months.
It also sells the Xbox Series S 512GB console for R429 per month, with the option to own it after 36 months.
Those looking for a foldable smartphone can get the Honor Magic V2 512GB from Vodacom4U for R1,199 per month.
Several Black Friday deals are available for PlayStation 5 fans, with Koodoo selling various pre-order and newly-released games for between R649 and R1,699, depending on the title.
