Fibre broadband prices: Neotel vs Vodacom

Neotel Fibre

Neotel recently unveiled its new NeoBroadband Fibre prices, which offer discounts of over 50% on some of its business broadband tariffs.

Neotel highlighted that its fibre products cannot be compared to Telkom’s DSL products, saying that: “Unlike heavily contended ADSL services, NeoBroadband offers a fast and efficient Internet service with very little contention.”

These new Neotel prices follow the launch of Vodacom’s fibre-to-the-business (FTTB) service in South Africa on 17 September 2014.

The initial rollout phase of Vodacom’s new Broadband Connect Fibre service sees broadband connectivity of up to 100Mbps coming to selected business parks in Gauteng, Cape Town, and Durban.

One of Vodacom Business’s biggest advantages with its new business fibre product is its competitive pricing.

Here is how Vodacom and Neotel’s fibre-to-the-business prices compare.
