Telkom uncapped LTE for R599 sale kicks off

Telkom has opened the online sale of its uncapped LTE 24-month contract packages, with prices starting at R599 per month.

The introductory offer will start at R599 for the first 50 customers, R699 for the second 50, and R799 for the final 50 available packages at each base station.

This online sale focuses on selected base stations in Gauteng, will run from 10 June to 10 July, and will be rolled out to additional locations in the coming months.

The online sale portal includes a coverage map with the LTE areas that are eligible. On the coverage map, physical addresses can be entered to determine whether or not you are eligible for the sale.

Customers who participate in the online sale after the 150 spots have been taken will be added to a waiting list.

Existing Telkom customers in the selected areas will have the opportunity to transition to the new packages depending on availability at each base station.

Telkom listed the following areas as part of its online uncapped LTE sale in Gauteng:

• Northern Suburbs: Mayfair, Paulshof, River Club, President Ridge, Northcliff, Highlands North, Northmead, Hyde Park, Bryanston, Northcliff, Morningside, Glenhazel.
• Southern Suburbs: Protea Glen, Mulbarton.
• West Rand: Florida, Noordheuwel.
• East Rand: Crystal Park, Eastleigh, Sydenham, Selection Park, Linksfield Ridge, Randhart, Bedford Gardens, Benoni SP, Leachville, Sharon Park, Bonaero Park.
