Neotel WiMax problems explained
Neotel has provided an explanation for problems that its WiMax users have been experiencing.
According to a report from one MyBroadband reader, problems arose on Friday, 14 December, and persisted over the long weekend.
“Neotel is currently experiencing an intermittent problem with a server that is primarily affecting some WiMax users. All faults that have been logged or reported have been resolved and those services restored,” said a Neotel spokesperson.
“We are currently working on resolving the issue permanently and anticipate that all services will be fully restored by midnight (18/12/12).”
“We have had no reports of any interruption with our technical support and encourage customers experiencing the fault to contact the Neotel customer support centre on 0860 Neotel (636 835),” the spokesperson said.
“We regret any inconvenience caused and apologise to our customers.”
