Top 10 broadband countries

Point-Topic has released their latest World Broadband Statistics report, revealing that China, the United States and Japan are the top broadband countries in the world.
According to the report there are currently 635.9 million broadband lines across the world, with China growing its market share of broadband lines.
“China is becoming more and more dominant in terms of share of new lines. This is not the only region that is showing better relative performance however – Africa and South/Central Americas are also showing well,” the report states.
After overtaking France to take the fifth spot in the broadband subscriber league table, Russia has fallen back down to sixth place again.
Brazil has overtaken South Korea to take eighth place, and Italy remains out of the top ten, overtaken by a still-growing India.
