Vodacom data price cut promotion extended

Vodacom has extended its contract data price-cut promotion by one month – originally set to expire on 6 June 2013, the promotion will now run until 6 July 2013. The extension includes all of Vodacom’s contract, top-up and pre-paid promotions.

In March 2013 Vodacom slashed its MyMeg 500, MyGig 1, MyGig 2, and MyGig 3 broadband standard contract prices.

In April Vodacom also reduced the price of its 5GB and 10GB broadband standard data contracts to fall in line with its existing promotion.

Vodacom’s broadband standard contract promotional pricing is as follows (SIM-only):

• MyMeg 500 – R39 per month
• MyGig 1 – R69 per month
• MyGig 2 – R99 per month
• MyGig 3 – R169 per month
• MyGig 5 – R259 per month
• MyGig 10 – R499 per month

Vodacom’s pre-paid data promotion prices are as follows:

• MyMeg 30 – R12
• MyMeg 100 – R29
• MyMeg 250 – R59
• MyMeg 500 – R99
• MyGig 1 – R149
• MyGig 2 – R249
• MyGig 3 – R299
• MyGig 5 – R399
• MyGig 20 – R499

Vodacom’s voice Contract and Top Up data promotion prices are as follows:

• MyMeg 100 – R29
• MyMeg 250 – R59
• MyMeg 500 – R99
• MyGig 1 – R149
• MyGig 2 – R249

These data promotions are now set to expire on 6 July 2013.
