3GB mobile data for R100 – students only

The University of South Africa (Unisa) has informed its South African students that they qualify for discounted 3G data packages from Vodacom, Cell C, and Telkom Business.

The mobile providers are offering students 3GB of data per month on a 6 month contract for R100 per month. The total cost for the 6 month contract – hence the full R600 – must be paid up front.

The initial Unisa web page promoting the mobile data offer included Vodacom, Cell C, Telkom Business, and MTN, but MTN is not listed on the current page.

This offer is available to Unisa students who are registered for a formal qualification and who live in South Africa. It is available from 1 August 2013.
