Afrihost Mobile’s plan to remove bill shock

Afrihost mobile data

Afrihost is set to launch its new mobile data products within the next few months, and will ensure that their subscribers do not fall prey to out of bundle bill shock. This is according to Afrihost CEO Gian Visser.

Visser said that their mobile data products will not require any contracts, and when their clients have used all their monthly mobile data they will be capped.

“They will not need to worry about out of bundle costs and having to pay more than they have budgeted or wish to spend,” Visser said.

“Once they are capped they will be able to easily top-up with 1GB increments at a very reasonable price.”

While Afrihost has not finalised its prices yet, Visser said that Afrihost’s top-ups prices will be less than R150 per GB (the current cheapest out of bundle pre-paid data cost available).

Consumers can also expect launch specials when Afrihost Mobile products hit the market.

“We love our clients and always make sure that existing clients get rewarded. We will therefore have an exclusive, pre-launch special to our clients,” said Visser.

“As with our R29 per GB ADSL launch of 2009, we will be subsidising a large chunk of each deal and there will be a limited quantity available. I promise you that it will knock our clients’ socks off.”
