Free WiFi for everyone from Telkom Mobile

Telkom Mobile has announced that it is offering 60 minutes of free, unlimited Wi-Fi every day to all consumers from 8 August to 15 December 2013.

In March 2013 Telkom Mobile announced that it is offering free Wi-Fi access to its contract and pre-paid customers under certain conditions.

Non-Telkom Mobile customers, and Telkom Mobile customers who did not qualify for free Wi-Fi, had to pay R25 for 30 minutes, or R40 for 60 minutes of Wi-Fi access.

Telkom Mobile has now removed this restriction, and is offering the service free of charge to all consumers until 15 December 2013.

To gain access to the free Telkom Mobile Wi-Fi service consumers have to SMS the company, after which an access code and PIN will be sent to the user.
