Vidi gets South African shows, movies

Vidi, the video on demand (VOD) service from Times Media Group which launched in September 2014, has announced that it has signed deals with the SABC and other local producers of TV shows and movies.
The deal will see new content available on the service in the months ahead, Vidi said.
From the beginning of February, the following SABC shows will be available on Vidi:
- High Rollers
- My Perfect Family
- URBO: The Adventures of Pax Afrika
- African Sky Stories
Vidi said that subscribers can also immediately enjoy a number of locally-made movies including:
- Liefling
- Jimmy in Pienk
- Semi-Soet
- Between Friends
- How To Steal Two Million
- Paradise Stop
More local content will be added to the Vidi line-up in the weeks and months ahead, the service promised.
