Trevor Noah The Daily Show start date released

Comedy Central has announced that Trevor Noah will start his new job as the host of The Daily Show on 28 September 2015.

This news follows Jon Stewart’s announcement that his last day to host the popular show will be 6 August. He anchored the show for over a decade.

Earlier this year Comedy Central announced Trevor Noah has been selected to become the next host of the Emmy award-winning The Daily Show. No start date was announced at the time.

Comedy Central has now said on Twitter that “Trevor Noah starts his new job September 28. Late night will Never be The Same. Or maybe it will”.

The company also posted a teaser video to promote Trevor Noah as the new host of The Daily Show, which features Noah and Steward.
