Vidi video on demand TV app launched in South Africa
Vidi has announced that it is the first video on demand service in South Africa to launch a smart TV application.
Times Media Group’s streaming video service said that the Vidi TV application supports 2013 Samsung TV models and later, with a version for 2012 models in the works.
Vidi’s Samsung smart TV app has been pre-loaded on the TVs it supports, the company said.
The company promised the launch of the app for several months, and recently added non-recurring billing options to its pricing structure.
It is also now possible to pay for Vidi with your mobile phone account.
