YouTube Offline launches in South Africa
YouTube’s offline mode is being made available in four African countries, including SA, from 18 November.
Initially launched in December 2014, YouTube Offline was only available in India, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
The feature is available on most videos, Google said, and lets you choose whether to download content in 144p, 360p, or 720p resolutions.
Once saved offline, videos can be played without an Internet connection for up to 48 hours.
Music videos are not included.
