Jeremy Clarkson’s new car show The Grand Tour – first stop is South Africa

Jeremy Clarkson has announced the first location of his new motoring show The Grand Tour – Johannesburg, South Africa.

The first episode will be shot in Johannesburg on 17 July.

The pre-recorded studio section of the programme will be filmed in front of a live audience, housed in a giant tent.

Amazon also announced it is giving fans a chance to win three pairs of tickets – including travel and accommodation – to be part of the recording in Johannesburg.

Competition details

To enter the competition, entrants should share, on Twitter, a photo or video of the most unusual place they’ve ever put up a tent.

The hashtag #TheGrandTourJoburg must be used. The top 10 entries will be shortlisted by an Amazon Prime Video panel, and the final three winners will be selected by Clarkson, Hammond, and May.

The Competition starts at 11:00 BST on 2 June 2016 and closes at 23:59 BST on 8 June 2016.

Tweets that do not use the hashtag will not be considered. Replies that do not use the hashtag will not be considered.
