Zero repeats in M-Net prime time

M-Net has announced it now has zero repeats during prime time – 18:00 to midnight – during the week.

This is made possible thanks to the merging of M-Net Edge into the main M-Net channel, said Jan du Plessis – director of M-Net channels.

Du Plessis said even when there are production breaks in shows screened during prime time, they will not schedule repeats in that time slot.

“Even the filler content will be fresh,” said Du Plessis.

On “Super Saturdays”, there will be a new movie screened at around 14:30, followed by a block of fresh content from 18:00 until midnight.

On Sundays, there will be new local content from 17:00 until Carte Blanche ends at 20:00. This will be followed by a new movie and other previously-unscreened content until midnight.
