Netflix bringing 4K streaming to more platforms soon

Netflix has announced that it will bring 4K video to more platforms soon.

The company said it has also expanded its service’s compatibility, with Firefox users on Linux now able to use Netflix.

“But this is just the beginning. We launched 4K Ultra HD on Microsoft Edge in December 2016, and look forward to high-resolution video being available on more platforms soon,” said Netflix.

“We are also looking ahead to HDR video. Netflix-supported TVs with Chromecast built in already support Dolby Vision and HDR10.”
