DStv Compact getting History channel for a month

A+E Networks has announced that the History Channel on DStv will receive a complete refresh on 11 May.

This includes the launch of new original content.

Following the relaunch, the channel will also be made available to DStv Compact viewers from 29 May to 23 June.

The refreshed channel will include The Warfighters, a new season of Alone, The King Who Tricked Hitler, JFK Declassified: Tracking Oswald, and a new season of Forged in Fire.

Two new shows will premiere on the channel in June: The Greeks on 14 June, and The Liberators of Dachau on 26 June.
