Apple will announce the launch of Amazon’s Prime Video app for Apple TV in June, BuzzFeed reported.
As part of a deal to have its app included on Apple TV, Amazon will start selling the Apple TV again, the report stated.
Amazon has banned the Apple TV and Google Chromecast from its platform, including third-party sellers. At the time of the ban, Amazon argued that the devices inspired “customer confusion.”
BuzzFeed reported that the launch date is expected to go live “this summer”, which runs from the end of May to September in the US.
Apple and Amazon did not provide comment.
