Showmax Xbox One app launched
Showmax has launched an Xbox One app for its service.
It said that since it launched two years ago, it has added features such as downloads, profiles, parental controls, support for AirPlay and Chromecast, and bandwidth capping.
It was also recently added to the DStv Explora and Android TV platforms.
To get Showmax on the Xbox One, navigate to the Store tab on the Xbox One, search for Showmax, install the app, and sign in with your account.
To pin the Showmax app to your home screen, highlight the app tile, press the menu button, and then select “pin to home”.
News of Showmax’s new app comes after Microsoft South Africa said it cannot confirm the local launch date of the Xbox One X.
Microsoft said the local clearance certification for the Xbox One X is still being approved.
