Apple extends movie rentals to 48 hours

Apple has increased its movie rental viewing window to 48 hours in the US.

The 48-hour window for movies rented from the iTunes Store starts once you begin streaming the movie.

Users can rent movies through iTunes on iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Apple TV, and a Mac or PC.

Users are also able to rent a movie and select a “watch later” option, which allows them to start streaming the film at a later time.
