Stranger Things season 2 gets huge viewership
Netflix original Stranger Things has received huge viewership numbers for the first episode of its second season.
According to Engadget, the first episode of season two was watched by 15.8 million people in the US within the first three days.
This puts it up against shows like Game of Thrones – its season seven premiere was watched by 16.1 million viewers on the first night.
The figure is based on a Nielsen report, which also showed that 326,000 people watched all nine episodes of season two on launch day.
