Amazon Prime Video to stream in HDR10+ on Samsung TVs

Amazon Prime Video will now stream in HDR10+ on Samsung QLED and 4K TVs, the company announced.

Around 100 shows and movies will initially support HDR10+, including hits like The Grand Tour.

HDR10+ features 10-bit colour and is an open and royalty-free standard.

Its competitor in the market is Dolby Vision, which supports 12-bit colour.
