Astronauts will watch Star Wars: The Last Jedi

Star Wars: The Last Jedi will be screened in space and watched by astronauts living in Low Earth Orbit.

Speaking to Inverse, NASA confirmed that astronauts on the International Space Station will be able to watch the film.

Astronauts typically receive movies as digital files and play them back on a laptop or projector onboard the space station.

NASA said there is no definitive timeline for when ISS astronauts will receive a digital copy of the film.

For those living on Earth, Star Wars: The Last Jedi will arrive in cinemas on 15 December.
