DStv renews contract for Discovery channels
MultiChoice and Discovery Networks have renewed their agreement for Discovery’s channels on DStv.
The agreement includes video-on-demand and Catch Up hours for Discovery’s portfolio, including TLC, ID, and Discovery Family shows.
Discovery’s channels will also be available to stream through DStv Now from early 2018, while ID and Discovery Family will become available in HD early next year.
DStv also confirmed that TLC will launch in HD.
Animal Planet is not included in the new agreement and will stop airing on DStv on 30 December 2017.
