New DStv channels launched

MultiChoice announced that the seven new DStv channels it announced at the end of October are available as of 10:00 today (13 November 2012).

DStv Premium subscribers will get 7 new channels, which include 3 music channels, a martial arts channel and 3 community-based channels:

• VH1 Classic, which will replace the current VH1 on channel 323;
• KykNet Musiek (channel 146);
• Mzansi Music (channel 321);
• Blackbelt TV (channel 129);
• Bay TV (channel 260);
• 1 KZN (channel 261);
• Dumisa (channel 340).

DStv Compact customers will also get 7 additional channels; 2 music channels, a martial arts channel, 3 community channels and a documentary channel:

• KykNet Musiek (channel 146);
• Mzansi Music (channel 321);
• Blackbelt TV (channel 129);
• Bay TV (channel 260);
• 1 KZN (channel 261);
• Dumisa (channel 340);
• Nat Geo Wild on (channel 182).
