DStv On Demand for Android gets launch window
MultiChoice plans to include DStv On Demand in the DStv Android tablet app around the second half of 2013, a spokesperson for the pay TV operator recently told MyBroadband.
“The exact date has not been finalised,” they added.
DStv On Demand was recently rolled into the DStv iPad app, which according to MultiChoice lets Premium bouquet subscribers watch a selection of DStv’s most popular shows on-demand.
The DStv On Demand website promises that these new additions to the DStv app are only the beginning. Subscribers can look forward to improvements to both the app, and in the mix of content available to watch on iPad, according to the website.
MultiChoice also has plans to bring On Demand to the DStv smartphone application.
“You can expect to see this next year,” the spokesperson said.
