DStv Explora gets all Game of Thrones episodes

A partnership between DStv and HBO will give DStv Premium subscribers access to all three seasons of Game of Thrones in preparation for the premier of Season 4 on M-Net, MultiChoice announced in a press release on Monday, 10 March 2014.

Available exclusively to owners of a DStv Explora, seasons 1 to 3 of Game of Thrones will be offered as three complete Box Sets on DStv Catch Up.

Game of Thrones season 1 will be available from 14 March 2014, followed by season 2 on 21 March, and season 3 on 28 March.

When season 4 of the series premiers on M-Net (DStv channel 101) on 18 April it will also build up, week-on-week, into a “super stack”.

This means that all episodes of season 4 will be available to watch on the DStv Explora by the time the season has ended.

“The DStv Explora was specifically designed to give viewers the opportunity to watch the content that they love on their own terms,” said Simon Camerer, chief marketing officer for DStv.

“We are already looking into more partnerships that will allow us to super stack series and make Box Sets available via DStv Catch Up as just one of the many benefits of owning a DStv Explora,” Camerer said.

Seasons 1 to 3 of Game of Thrones will also be made available to Premium subscribers to stream or downloads via the DStv Catch Up website (www.dstv.com/catchup), and also via iPads and iPhones with the DStv iOS app.
