Link Africa has announced it is selling certain FTTH assets to Vumatel.
“Link Africa has decided to better service all our customers by maintaining an interest and focus on the FTTB customers,” it said.
The company said it has “experienced an unprecedented and substantial demand for fibre-to-the-business” recently.
“This has resulted in Link Africa’s resources being stretched between FTTB and FTTH demands.”
The areas affected by the sale are below.
Beverly Hills | Umhlanga (Upper) |
Fourways Gardens | Dunkirk |
Kloof | Ilala |
Umdloti (Upper) | Prestondale |
Dainfern Golf Estate | Vorna Valley |
Gillitts | Forest Hills |
Maytime | Izinga |
Seaward |
Link Africa said it will continue to provide wholesale services to Constantia, Stellenbosch, Hawaan, Simbithi Eco Estate, Victoria Country Club, and Waterkloof View.
“Link Africa will continue to build FTTH assets in communities near our extensive core network. Most importantly, Link Africa will be focusing and promoting its new wholesale Ethernet offerings in addition to existing FTTB offerings.”
