Highest paid tech CEOs in South Africa
Vodacom has released its annual report for the financial year of 2013/14, revealing how much its top executives took home for the year.
Vodacom Group CEO, Shameel Joosub – who took over from former CEO Pieter Uys in the previous financial year in September 2012 – took home a complete package of R12.98 million, off of a basic salary of R6.9 million.
In the 2012/13 financial year, Joosub took home R9.2 million, representing the 9 months he served as CEO for the group.
The following table shows the salaries for Vodacom’s chief executive, chief financial officer, chief technology officer and chief officer of enterprise at the group.
