Takealot e-book service to replace Kalahari’s

Takealot will launch an e-book store to replace Kalahari’s after it shuts down, the online store recently told customers in an e-mail.

No date was given for the launch, other than “sometime after the Kalahari website closes.”

Kalahari said items bought from its e-book store will still be available on Takealot under “Digital Library”.

Kalahari’s e-Reader smartphone application will also change to the “Takealot eReader” after the site closes.

The app will use Takealot login credentials and allow you to buy books from Takealot’s e-book store, with your old Kalahari purchases remaining available.
