Telkom’s 10 biggest shareholders revealed

Telkom’s annual report for the year ended 31 March 2015 reveals that the South African Government, the Public Investment Corporation, and Visio Capital Management are its biggest shareholders.

Other significant shareholders are Acadian Asset Management, Dimensional Fund Advisors, LSV Asset Management, and The Vanguard Group.

Telkom said its total free float shareholder composition – excluding government shareholding – is 52% institutional held, 40% company related, 6% non-institutional, and 2% miscellaneous.

Looking at only institutional shares, 44% are held by South African institutions, 35% by United States institutions, and 5% by UK-based institutions.
