Graduates from these South African Universities earn the highest starting salaries
MyBroadband recently conducted a qualifications and salary survey, which revealed that graduates from Stellenbosch University, the University of Pretoria, and the University of Cape Town enjoy the highest average starting salaries.
The survey was completed by 4,638 South Africans, of which 1,787 did a degree at a traditional South African university.
MyBroadband used data from the survey to calculate the average starting salaries of graduates from the country’s large universities.
To rank the starting salaries of graduates, we only considered people who started working from 2013 onward.
It should be noted that the type of degrees studied were not taken into account, which means that the results should be seen as a rough guide rather than an exhaustive study.
The infographic below shows the average starting salaries of graduates from various South African universities.
