CareerJunction has published its latest CJI report, which shows continued growth in the South African IT and telecommunications job market.
The CJI report is based on data gathered from the CareerJunction website, where around 3,000 of the country’s top recruiters advertise their positions.
According to the report, demand for IT staff continued to increase during August 2015.
“Owing to a spike in IT jobs during the last running quarter, vacancy volumes are up by 23% since the start of the year,” said CareerJunction.
Year-on-year, demand for telecoms staff is up by 26%. “This follows a steady increase in jobs over the running quarter.”
The graphs below show the trends in the volume of IT and telecoms job adverts published on the CareerJunction website over the last 12 months.
