Google Project Aura to replace Google Glass
Google has formed Project Aura, which is aimed at developing wearable tech and reviving the Google Glass project. This is according to a report on Business Insider.
According to the report, Project Aura was started a few months ago and has recruited consumer electronics experts from Amazon’s Lab126.
Project Aura will not be a separate company under the new Alphabet holding company. Instead, it will fall under the Google brand.
The Wall Street Journal reported that Aura is run by Ivy Ross, who previously ran the Glass project.
