Most Iconic IT brands in SA named
Market and media research firm TGI South Africa and Media24 recently joined forces to establish the most iconic brands in the South African marketplace. 15,000 adult consumers were surveyed to solve this riddle.
The most iconic brands in 31 categories were named last week, including the most beloved brands in the telecommunications, cellular and computer markets.
In the telecoms space Vodacom was named the most iconic brand, followed by MTN, Telkom, Cell C and Neotel.
When it came to cellphones Nokia finished tops, followed by Samsung, Motorola, LG and Sony/Ericsson.
Acer was named the most iconic Computer brand in the country, followed by LG, Samsung, Dell and Hewlett Packard.
