The head of AMD’s Radeon Technologies Group, Raja Koduri, has resigned, according to a report by Hexus.
The Radeon Technologies Group has completed work on new Polaris and Vega graphics card architectures in recent years, which offer a big improvement over previous architectures.
A memo sent from Koduri to AMD staff contained an explanation for his resignation.
“I have just spent forty days away from the office going through such a transition. It was an important time with my family, and it also offered me a rare space for reflection,” said Koduri.
“During this time I have come to the extremely difficult conclusion that it is time for me to leave RTG and AMD.”
Sources told Hexus that AMD CEO Lisa Su would oversee the Radeon group.
