From IT Technician to Managing Director

Rectron managing director Spencer Chen is a perfect example of someone who has worked himself to the top.

Chen joined Rectron in June 1996 as an IT technician, and then moved to Rectron’s holding company Mustek as a warehouse manager a year later.

He continued to progress, and along the way served as managing director of Mecer in Brazil and products director at Rectron.

He took the reins at Rectron in July 2016, and Chen attributes reaching the top to many years of hard work.

“I always believe the two keys to success are attitude and humanity,” Chen told MyBroadband.

“Positive attitude toward to your work and life, and knowing that no matter where you are in your life, or how successful you are, humanity is what will keep people supporting you.”
