In this What’s Next with Aki Anastasiou interview, Andrew Allison — CCO of Red & Yellow Creative School of Business — explains how educators can keep up with the latest trends.
Allison is a Chartered Management Accountant with a keen interest in the intersection of technology and marketing with education, transformation, and diversity.
He is also a licensed attorney specialising in M&A, corporate, and commercial law and serves as legal counsel to social opinion mining business BrandsEye.
Allison previously served as an associate at several law firms, including Brink Cohen Le Roux in Johannesburg and two firms in London — Norton Rose and Wallace LLP.
In 2010, Allison took the position of Group CFO at the digital marketing agency Quirk, and later became the Group COO. The company changed its name to Mirum Agency in 2016, at which time Allison began serving as a Non-Executive Director.
Allison also worked for the IAB South Africa, where he served as Treasurer and founded and directed the Regulatory Affairs Council between 2013 and 2017.
He continues to work closely with the IAB — he currently sits on its Transformation Council, and serves as the Chairman of the Advertising Regulatory Board.
Allison has worked at Red & Yellow Creative School of Business since 2012, starting out as the COO and taking on his current role as CCO in 2020.
