MTN cuts call rate to 79c per minute

MTN has launched a new promotion, offering a flat rate of 79c per minute on its MTN Pay Per Second service, billed per second to any local network at any time.

“We’ve dropped our call rate to 79c per minute, billed per second because Mzansi, there’s a lot to talk about,” MTN said.

MTN PayAsYouGo bundle users will also benefit. “Join the conversation with MTN PayAsYouGo, and pay just 79c per minute, billed per second when you load our new R7, R12, R17 or R30 MTN PayAsYouGo bundles,” MTN said.

“Not only do you get to talk more for less, but these bundles also offer extra SMSs, data and airtime free.”

MTN highlighted that its free SMSs, data and airtime values only apply during bundle validity periods and values vary according to the bundle value loaded.

MTN’s reduced pricing on its MTN Pay Per Second Price Plan is effective until 09 July 2014.
