MTN promotion: buy R6 Cliq5 bundle, get R300 airtime

MTN has launched a new weekend promotion, offering R300 worth of airtime to subscribers who purchase a R6 Cliq5 bundle.

This free airtime can be used to call and SMS “five of their favourite MTN contacts during the promotional period which commences at 00:00 on Friday, 1 August and ends on Sunday, 3 August at 23:59”.

The Cliq5 promotion will be applicable to R6, R8, and R12 bundles. MTN subscribers who purchase a R6 Cliq5 bundle will receive R300 worth of airtime. Those who buy an R8 bundle will get R450 airtime, while a R12 bundle will get you a whopping R700.

“The airtime expires on the date of purchase and can only be used to call or SMS five MTN Cliq5 contacts that the customer has selected on the date of purchase. Customers can also use the bundle to surf the internet,” MTN said.

The offer is applicable to all MTN customers including those on MTN Pay per Second, MTN Pulse, Prepaid, MTN Anytime Top-Up, MTNChoice, and Classic Contract price plans.

Once the MTN Cliq5 bundle has been depleted, the customer will then be defaulted to their respective price plan rate.

Customers who call other MTN customers outside their Cliq5 numbers will be charged their price plan rates.
